Something Pretty Events is a boutique wedding planning business based in Easthampton, MA started on the premise of giving honest and heartfelt knowledge to couples along their wedding planning journey. Every client has a unique vision and we approach every client understanding that the most valuable gift for your wedding is honesty and respect.
We service New England and beyond. You'll generally find us in the following states, but if the right event arises we'll go anywhere!

Whether you are looking to design a magical outdoor celebration at a private estate or are getting married at a full service venue we understand your needs and are here to help bring your vision together. ABOUT THE OWNER
Welcome, I am Bethany, the owner of Something Pretty Events. I created this company over seven years ago with the goal to make curating a wedding that represents you and your partner fun and easy. The goal is to harness your personality to curate an event that feels genuine, authentic, relaxed and beautiful.
I grew up in a small town in rural Maine and after graduating high school I attended Hollins University, an all-women liberal arts college in Virginia. After working in Portland, Maine for an event planning company during my twenties I moved to Western Massachusetts with my wonderful pup, met my partner and began cultivating my long-term dream of owning my own business.
I wanted to create a business where weddings felt less forced, and more true to my clients personalities. I travel New England and beyond creating lasting memories for clients at a range of full service venues as well as private properties, bed and breakfasts, estates, and farms. I enjoy taking peoples creative ideas and helping to design a wedding that still has great flow, and fulfills the wants and needs of you and your families.
Now, the years have flown by and I am now married to my husband Rob, and mother to a beautiful daughter Nora. When I am not planning or executing events you will often find me wandering the woods with my dogs, Grafton and Beau, getting lost in the newest true crime podcast, doing a home improvement project or snuggling our kitties Grayson and Max.
My ultimate goal is to simplify the planning process and help to guide you through the challenges of planning your wedding with a sense of humor, hint of sarcasm and a smile. I am here to ease the stress, after all.
