Last week we sat down with Chris Plankey, the owner of MusiChris DJ & Lighting Service a highly experienced disc jockey and master of ceremonies who has entertained Berkshire County, Massachusetts for over 20 years. Chris specializes in wedding receptions, corporate events, proms, and semi-formals along with having entertained private parties of every kind including jack & jills, bar/bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, and anniversary parties. He has a solid reputation for consistently offering tasteful and memorable entertainment.

When you deal with MusiChris DJ & Lighting Service, you work directly with Chris Plankey, it's owner and operator. Although you may not know this, this is unlike many other disc jockey services (in fact, most of the ones based in his area). On the day of your event, Chris is focused on your event and your event only. Plus, you'll work from start to finish with just one person. From first contact until your last guest has left your event, you'll benefit from Chris' full attention and extensive professional experience. He's flexible and available to assist you every step of the way. Chris is the one there for you on your big day to make it all happen. Ultimately, Chris shares his entire plan before the day of your event. Using a timeline you'll create together, your event will run smoothly, with no surprises. Chris coordinates with your venue and other vendors to ensure that all you are left to do is enjoy your event!

In addition to the impressive array of dance floor lighting that comes standard with every DJ package Chris also offers special event lighting including uplighting, custom monogram lighting, pin spot lighting, and bistro market string lighting to make your event spectacular! He even has galleries of many of the venues he's worked (Just about everything in the Berkshires!) with photos of different lighting installations he completed there!

So happy that we got to sit down and chat with Chris last week. He was such a joy to talk to, and is so incredibly helpful. We can’t wait to see him around the Berkshires this season!
